Change Creation has been invented, designed and developed by people make it work. As one of the UK’s most experienced organisational development consultancies, people make it work has 17 years of experience in the cultural sector, with a 30-strong team with offices in Covent Garden in London and based and working across the UK.
Change Creation is built on learning and insights accumulated over nearly two decades in the Cultural Sector and draws on the expertise of some of the most respected, internationally renowned cultural sector leaders as advisors, facilitators, speakers and mentors.
Our Core Team

Our steering group is made up of our friends and colleagues from across the cultural sector, to be on hand with advice and support, and ensure that we create an amazing programme that is relevant to people from across change topic, culture, scale and geography.
Dr Claire Antrobus – Visual arts, leadership and coaching culture
Claire is a resilience and change consultant, trainer, and an accredited Action Learning facilitator. She specialises in resilience, business model development and transformation in the cultural sector and was a Nesta Innovation Fellow on the Clore Leadership Programme.
Charles Beckett – Literature, policy, international and digital
Charles spent 10 years as Relationship Manager, Literature, and Senior Officer for digital development at Arts Council England with projects including the Digital R&D fund for the arts, the Digital Landscape survey conducted by MTM London, and Arts Council England’s Creative Media policy.
Sian Bird – Partnership, cultural education, and public engagement
Sian is a specialist in partnerships, communities & young people led creativity and is currently developing a cultural hub for the City of London with Barbican, Museum of London, LSO and Guildhall School of Music & Drama. Sian has worked for DCMS, Arts Council England, Barbican Guildhall, Conservatoire of Dance & Drama and Contemporary Visual Arts Network.
Sarah Boiling – Audiences, evaluation
Sarah is a change consultant specialising in audience development, research and evaluation. She has 20 years experience in the cultural sector, including senior roles at Tate, The Barbican and The Audience Agency and clients including National Trust, Crafts Council, Photographers’ Gallery, Streetwise Opera, Independent Cinema Office, National Gallery of Ireland, Fevered Sleep and British Council.
Dawn Langley – Organisation Development, organisational learning, leadership
Over 25 years Dawn has been facilitating organisations undertaking significant change project and has worked with English Heritage, The Crafts Council, Mercury Theatre, Royal Central School for Speech and Drama, Emergency Exit Arts, Oxfam, The WI and Cultural Co-operation. She is also former Director of Organisational Development at Arts Council England.
Caitlin Griffiths – Heritage
Caitlin is a museum and gallery consultant with extensive experience of the sector gained through working in a number of museums and nationally at a senior policy level at the Museums Association. She has led sector changing work on issues related to workforce development and ethics. She has led programmes in Leadership development for small to medium sized museums in the East Midlands in partnership with the East Midlands Museum Service.
Our advisory panel is made up of leaders from across the cultural sector, representing everything from national institutions to the smallest organisations, and also from Heritage, Arts, Culture Technology Funders and Alternative Finance. The panel will be sharing their wisdom with us and all the leaders in the programme and will also be deciding which change creation applicants win a place on the programme.
